Trail de Clamouse 2027

Trail de Clamouse is a trail-running event held in Saint Jean de Fos, located in the Hérault region of southern France. A distinctive feature is that participants run through the well-known Grotte de Clamouse, incorporating an underground section into the course. The event is organized by the Foyer rural and the Municipality of Saint Jean de Fos, with assistance from the Communauté de Communes Vallée de l’Hérault. It provides three race distances: Pic du Diable at approximately 38.5 km, Joncas at about 25.4 km, and Terre de Légendes at roughly 13.5 km. The courses traverse the Grand Site de France Saint-Guilhem-le-Désert – Gorges de l’Hérault, a protected landscape of limestone hills, gorges, and historical villages. The longest route involves an ascent of around 1,407 m, marking it as a challenging trail run. The race also supports a local charity, with a portion of the proceeds benefiting Association Centre Hérault in Pézenas. This non-profit, established by individuals connected to people with mental disabilities, manages eight adapted facilities, linking the village trail event to community support services in the Hérault area.
