Trail de l'Ankou takes place in Ploumilliau, offering participants a choice between a 14 km course and a 7.5 km option. This eighth edition saw approximately 300 runners on the longer course and 200 on the shorter one. The race is also part of the Solidarité challenge.
The outcome of the 14 km race was affected by a navigational error near the finish. Cyril Le Nay, who had scouted the course the previous Sunday, took a wrong turn and lost his lead. Cédric Gorgelin, noticing the mistake around the 8 km point, attempted to alert him and ultimately won the race, remarking that Cyril had been the stronger competitor.
