Trail de l'Aubetin is a winter-to-early-spring trail race held in Saint-Augustin, Seine-et-Marne, east of Paris in the Brie countryside. It is an individual off-road event offering several distance options, with recent events featuring routes around 8 km, 12 km, 18 km, and 27 km. Other editions have included similar distances like 9 km, 20 km, and 28 km. A 12 km walk is also available, making the day suitable for participants who are not focused on race times.
The routes traverse the Aubetin river area, forest paths, and wilder trails surrounding Saint-Augustin. The race's slogan encourages participants to follow the river's course. The shorter courses are suitable for beginners, while the longer options provide experienced trail runners with a challenging experience in the mud, cold, and countryside. Over 500 participants have been expected at the event, with the focus on sport, nature, village discovery, and a friendly local race atmosphere, distinct from a large-scale city event.
