Trail de l'Aubetin is a trail-running event in Saint-Augustin, a village in Seine-et-Marne east of Paris. It is held in March and offers runners four distances: 27 km, 18 km, 12 km, and 8 km. The two longer races are in the 20k category, and the 12 km and 8 km options are in the 10K category, catering to those seeking a longer countryside run and those new to trail racing over a shorter distance.
The courses follow natural trails around Saint-Augustin, avoiding city roads. The event focuses on running through natural terrain and open spaces. Over 500 runners have been anticipated for an edition, with about 100 on the 12 km route. Beginners compete alongside experienced club runners, and notable French runners like Clément Thominet and Florian Girardin have participated. Starts are scheduled in the morning, with the shorter and middle-distance races beginning close together.
