The Trail de l'Eau Bourde is a late-March trail event held in Canéjan, Gironde, France. It offers short, accessible off-road distances, with recent events featuring options around 9 or 10 km and a longer route of about 19 or 20 km. Some years also include a walking route and a children's course, catering to participants beyond regular trail runners.
The course begins in the ZA du Courneau area, tracing the Eau Bourde stream through undergrowth, shaded paths, and alongside water. The 10 km trail is fairly flat, with approximately 50 m of elevation gain, while the longer trail has around 100 m of climbing, presenting a rolling local run rather than a mountain race. Canéjan Athlétisme organizes the event, and participants often combine it with visits to nearby Gironde locations like Parc de Majolan in Bruges, Parc de Bourran in Mérignac, or a trip to the Bassin d'Arcachon.
