The Trail de la Flora is a trail race held in late March in Saint-Alban, a town in Brittany near the Côte de Penthièvre. Participants can select from 8 km, 12 km, or 24 km distances, offering routes from a short discovery trail to a longer, hilly course. The elevation gain increases with the distance: 150 meters on the 8 km, 260 meters on the 12 km, and 550 meters on the 24 km.
The courses traverse forest paths, coastal sections, undulating terrain, and some technical parts, providing views of the Penthièvre coast. The race starts at the Salle des Fêtes parking area, with bib collection at École St Guillaume in the village. A cutoff point is set at Quinrouët, 4 km from the finish. The race concludes with a unique final 300 meters timed as a separate sprint, the KOM Hyper U d’Yffiniac, awarding prizes to the top three women and men across all distances.
