Trail de la fougère - Heugas 2027

Trail de la fougère is a Sunday morning trail event in Heugas, in the Landes, where runners and walkers head into the meadows and woods around the village. The program includes a 17 km trail, an 8 km trail, an 8 km walk, and a 1 km children’s race, suitable for regular trail runners, families, and those seeking a shorter outing on foot. The race is in its twelfth edition and is part of the Challenge landais de trail. Local co-president Laurent Ayçaguer notes that interest in trail running is at an all-time high, with early races filling quickly and a large crowd anticipated. A new addition this year is the inclusion of joélettes, allowing individuals with disabilities to participate in the trail. The local band Los Papillonès will perform for the runners, and participants can dine on-site after the event.
