Trail de la galette - Chaumont 2027

Trail de la Galette is a winter trail event in Chaumont, Haute-Marne, starting from the gymnase de la Rochotte. Organized by ECAC Triathlon, it offers a 15 km main race with 300 meters of climbing, a 7.5 km route that can be run or walked, plus shorter 4.2 km and 1.5 km races for teenagers and children. The routes use a mix of paths, forest sections, open viewpoints, and the hills around the Suize, making the day more of an off-road outing than a city race. The 15 km starts first, the 7.5 km run and walk follow soon after, and the youth races come later in the morning. It is a young event, already on its third edition, and the most local touch is in the name: every participant gets a slice of galette and a drink after finishing.
