Trail de la Lune Bleue is a night trail race held in Ailly-Noye, within the Somme department of northern France. Participants can select either a 10 km or 21 km route, with shorter options available for children ranging from toddlers to teenagers. The event centers on running after dark on trails, making headlamps and forest paths fundamental elements of the experience.
The courses navigate woodland trails and winding paths surrounding the Berny water body. The 21 km route incorporates technical sections, forest ascents, and frequent pace alterations, while the 10 km course maintains a faster pace but still features inclines and paths through undergrowth. The atmosphere is inspired by local 17th-century legends, and runners will pass the Moulin du Souffle de la Terre. Post-race refreshments, on-site parking, and a food and drink vendor contribute to its appeal as a local event for both families and trail runners.
