The Trail de la Via Romana Occitana begins in Massac-Séran, a village in the Tarn region of southwest France. This trail-running event offers two race distances, 13 km and 19 km, both commencing in the afternoon. A separate 10 km hike is available for walkers at the same time.
The courses follow the old Roman road that inspired the event's name. The 19 km race ascends approximately 500 meters. It is a suitable distance for local trail runners seeking brisk winter outings, offering genuine climbing without being a flat village run. Didier Assemat directs the event, and the atmosphere is described as festive and friendly.
