Trail de Nassandres 2026

The Trail de Nassandres takes place in Nassandres sur Risle, Eure department, Normandy, offering shorter off-road routes instead of long mountain distances. Participants can select from 7 km and 14 km trail runs, with the 14 km being the most chosen. The event is scheduled in the Normandy running calendar for mid-September and also features a 7 km walk for those who prefer to enjoy the forest path without competing. The routes traverse the Bigards forest, meaning the running is on natural terrain rather than paved surfaces. Expect ascents, challenging descents, narrow trails, and broader forest paths within this local trail event. François Moskwa was instrumental in founding the race, with Pierryves Recoquille, Jean-Marie Rocard, Allan Herfort, and Sylvain Querel involved in its organization. The Nassandres ACLF festival committee offers significant financial and volunteer backing, and the municipality also supports the event.
