The Trail de Saint-Didier “Jacques Silvain” is a trail running series held in late September in Saint-Didier, a village in the Vaucluse region of Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur in southern France. It provides multiple distances: an 8 km trail, a 10-13 km nature run, a 20-25 km discovery trail, and a 42-50 km elite trail.
The routes follow paths and trails surrounding the village, passing through oak woods, olive groves, vineyards, and the courtyard of Beaucet castle. Past results show the middle distances attract the largest fields, with over 200 runners in the 13 km and over 100 in the 25 km in previous editions. The series is named for Jacques Silvain and emphasizes village-and-countryside trail running over a road-race feel.
