Trail des Beaux-Monts is a September trail race held in Compiègne, within France’s Oise region. ASPTT Compiègne organizes the event, offering runners multiple options: a 5 km Course Nature, 14-15 km trail routes, 27-32 km routes, and a marathon-distance course. A discovery walk and a 12 km walking route are also available.
The courses traverse the forest of Compiègne and the Allée des Beaux-Monts, connecting the race to the woods near the city. Participants may pass the imperial castle once occupied by Napoleon III, and run near Mont Tremble and Mont Saint-Marc. Past participant feedback highlights a challenging course, dedicated volunteer support, and effective organization. The race also benefits two associations, linking participation to local charity and sport.
