Trail des châtaignes - La Baussaine 2026

Trail des Châtaignes is a trail-running event held in La Baussaine, a village in Brittany. The start and finish are located at the school parking lot. Bouge à La Baussaine organizes the event, which offers three distances: La Piquante at 32 km, La Châtaigne at 16 km, and La Bogue at 9 km. The number of participants is limited to 800 runners, making it a local race with a set field size. The routes traverse paths within and around the Montmuran castle estate, incorporating the rampart path and the castle courtyard. The 32 km and 16 km races additionally feature the “bloody path,” along with hollow lanes and steep ascents. The 9 km route follows paths north of La Baussaine. Aid stations are available, and 1 euro from each entry fee is donated to Ensemble, aidons Gabin. The organizers are committed to a zero-waste approach.
