Trail des Collines Bleues is a trail race near Châteaulin in Brittany, offering off-road distances of 8 km and 14 km. The longer route proved challenging, with the first edition favoring runners experienced in trail racing, such as 14 km winner Ewen Thomas.
The course provided ample opportunity for local runners, who performed well in both races. Alain Doug, who is from Châteaulin, was among the local participants noted in the results. This made the inaugural event feel closely connected to the local running community, rather than solely attracting outside competitors.
