Trail des Débutantes 2027

The Trail des Débutantes is a short trail event in Laffrey, Isère, starting from the beach of the Grand Lac de Laffrey. It is built around a 7 km loop that can be completed as a timed run or an untimed hike, suitable for first-time trail runners and those who prefer to walk the route. The event is scheduled for mid-April, with straightforward formats: 7 km solo, 14 km solo, and a two-person relay on the 14 km distance. The 7 km course follows forest paths for almost 90% of its length and includes approximately 200 m of elevation gain, with the route alternating between wooded areas and open plateau. The 14 km race consists of completing the same loop twice; for the relay, one runner completes the first loop individually before joining their partner to finish the second loop together. Alpha Sport Event is the organizer, and past editions have featured children's races, aligning with the event's beginner-friendly nature.
