On a February race day in Moyon Villages, Manche, Trail des Loups takes over the village streets and sidewalks before sending runners onto hilly trail courses. The event is a trail-running series with four race options: 59 km, 34 km, 20 km, and 14 km, with a walking group accompanying the runners.
The climbs are a significant part of the challenge, particularly on the longer routes, and the turnout can make parking in the village difficult. A record edition attracted 1,200 runners and 250 walkers. Stéphane Marie, president of the Trail des Loups association, notes that participants return due to their appreciation for the local paths and the courses.
