Trail des Pantouflards is a small trail-running event in Plougonver, a village in Côtes-d'Armor in Brittany. It is usually run in late September, with two main distances: 8 km and 15 km. Both races start from the village centre in the afternoon, with the two starts set five minutes apart. There is also a children's race earlier in the day, so the event works as a local running afternoon rather than just a single start line for adults.
The name plays on the joke "Pantoufles ou baskets ?" — slippers or running shoes — but the race itself is a proper nature run through the Breton countryside around Plougonver. It is open to licensed and non-licensed runners, and the two distances offer a way in for both casual runners and trail regulars. The race is organized by volunteers from the Plougonver festival committee, and recent editions have drawn a little over a hundred runners, giving it the feel of a community event rather than a large commercial trail race.
