Trail des sentiers du colporteur 2027

The Trail des Sentiers du Colporteur is a trail race held in mid-March, starting from the campsite in Mazirat, a village in the Allier department of central France. Participants will run through the forests and gorges of the Cher valley, with three distance options: La Roncerais at 7 km, Les Sentiers des Barrages at 16 km, and the Trail du Colporteur at 24 km. This race is not on flat ground; the 7 km course includes approximately 250 metres of climbing, the 16 km route has about 600 metres of elevation gain, and the 24 km course reaches around 900 metres. The courses follow narrow, untamed paths through secluded areas, including private land not typically accessible to runners. CAP 03 organizes the event with the Allier departmental athletics committee. The race maintains a small, challenging, and festive atmosphere, with a St. Patrick's Day theme around the race weekend.
