Trail des Sucs 2026

The Trail des Sucs begins at Choumouroux in Yssingeaux, Haute-Loire, guiding runners toward the volcanic "sucs" near Yssingeaux, Le Pertuis, Queyrières, and Araules. This trail-running event, typically held in early November, offers adult courses of approximately 12 km, 24 km, and 33 km. A duo option and the P’tits Sucs races for children aged six and older are also available. The courses traverse forests, volcanic hills, varied terrain, ascents, and sections suitable for faster running. The Duo l’Orée des Sucs spans 12.5 km with 440 m of elevation gain through the Bellecombe and Ollières woods. L’Assaut des Sucs ascends through forest in the Meygal region before reaching Montivernoux, then descends on winding, occasionally technical trails. Organized by the Yssingeaux triathlon club, the event accommodates both competitive racers and those seeking a challenging run amidst the cone- and dome-shaped hills.
