The Trail des Vosges Saônoises is a trail race held in Fresse, a village in Haute-Saône, eastern France, organized by the local association L'abeille fresse. The race day is in April, with a program featuring two nature races for adults and a children's race for ages 6 to 10.
The shorter adult race, Le Lynx, covers 11 km with 450 meters of elevation gain. Le Cerf, the longer race, is 21 km with 1000 meters of climbing. The organizer describes Le Cerf as a technical route demanding significant endurance. The race, having had only a few editions, has already attracted notable local runners. Baptiste Domanico has won the 21 km event four times, Nolwen Chauvel has also secured a win, and former professional cyclist Thibaut Pinot placed third in the long race during his first attempt at a 24 km distance. Local accounts also note cool weather and a good turnout in Fresse.
