The Trail du Josas is a spring trail-running event held in Jouy-en-Josas, Yvelines, southwest of Paris. It provides multiple race distances, including a 35 km option with approximately 700 meters of elevation gain, placing it in the short-to-middle trail category, distinct from ultra distances.
The courses traverse the Bièvre Valley, offering participants a local trail experience near the Paris region. The event has attracted notable trail runners; Nathalie Mauclair, a two-time world trail champion and victor of events like UTMB, the Marathon des Sables, the Grand Raid de La Réunion, and Ultra Marin, competed in the 28 km race. She also engaged with participants via a book signing and assisted with the children’s race medal ceremony, adding a community aspect to the weekend beyond the main adult competitions.
