Trail du Loperhethon is a community trail race in Loperhet, offering three distances: 9 km, 16 km, and 25 km. The courses are hilly, though not mountainous, with elevation gains of 168 meters for the 9 km, 239 meters for the 16 km, and 341 meters for the 25 km. Starts are staggered and grouped in the morning, beginning with the longest race and concluding with the shortest.
The event is organized by Loperhethon Sports, with all profits donated to AFM Telethon. It welcomes all participants, using a finish ranking instead of electronic timing, positioning it between a local charity run and a formal trail race. Over half of the routes are altered each year, incorporating new sections. Runners in the 16 km and 25 km events will find a water station before reaching the Loperhet Omnisports hall for post-race refreshments.
