The Trail du Pays d'Argentan et Raid de la Libération, held in late April at Le Pin-au-Haras in Orne, Normandy, offers trail running, Nordic walking, and hiking. Participants can choose from 13 km, 30 km, and 44 km races, along with untimed 13 km and 20 km walks. The 13 km trail is suitable for runners aged 16 and up seeking a shorter course, while the 30 km and 44 km events are for adults 20 years and older.
The courses traverse the Haras du Pin estate, utilizing tracks, fields, forest trails, minor roads, stables, and the château grounds. Most races commence near the Cour d'Honneur at Haras du Pin. However, the 30 km race now begins in Chambois, and the 44 km Raid de la Libération starts at Mont Ormel, linking the longest distance to a significant Normandy liberation landmark. Bayard Athlétisme organizes the event, with assistance from Haras du Pin. A Green Day is also part of the program, running concurrently with the timed trail races.
