Trail du Sapeur 2027

Trail du Sapeur is a trail-running event in Lure, Haute-Saône, eastern France, with main races at 10 km and 20 km. The format accommodates various levels: novices can select the shorter trail, experienced runners can opt for longer distances, and children and juniors have dedicated courses. Organized by Lure Macadam, the event typically occurs in late spring, centered around forest running. The routes follow forest paths near Lure, offering views of local lakes and ponds. Both the 10 km and 20 km courses have 150 meters of elevation gain, suggesting a rolling terrain rather than mountainous. The shorter 4.5 km course features the same elevation gain, and the children's race is 3 km. A past edition saw over 430 participants across four races, including adults, children, competitive runners, and casual runners. The race slogan is “Ta Peur, fais-en une force!”, translating to: turn your fear into strength.
