Trail le gargantuesque - Saint-Pierre-le-Moûtier 2026

Trail le gargantuesque is a small trail and walking event in Saint-Pierre-le-Moûtier, located in the Nièvre department of central France. The two running options begin simultaneously in the morning: a 12.2 km trail featuring 50 m of elevation gain and a 17.3 km trail with 250 m of elevation gain. Hikers commence their activity shortly thereafter, with a 10 km hike and a distinct 10 km Nordic walking option. The event follows a simple, local format with low entry fees for all options: 6 EUR for the shorter trail, 8 EUR for the longer one, 2 EUR for the hike, and 3 EUR for Nordic walking. USSP organizes the event. A recent edition recorded 268 participants, indicating it is more of a community race day than a crowded mass event.
