The Trail off de Noël is a 12 km trail run in Séguret, Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur, organized by Team Sports 84 near the year's end. It is untimed, without rankings or prizes; the focus is a shared winter run, not a results sheet. Almost 600 runners participate, and entry is restricted to adults. The format is semi-autonomous, requiring participants to carry their own essentials, including a bag with at least 2 liters of water, food, a survival blanket, and a whistle.
The route is a loop on trails and tracks, approximately 11.5 to 12 km with about 500 m of elevation gain. The organizers reveal the course only on the day of the event, ensuring even returning participants do not know the exact path beforehand. Access to the course is managed via a wristband provided to registered participants. A single refreshment stop is located at the finish, and the post-run offerings include beer and mulled wine. Dogs are permitted, aligning with the relaxed, non-competitive atmosphere.
