The Trail Semi-Urbain du Val d’Huisne is a trail race in La Ferté-Bernard, a town in France’s Sarthe region known as the “Venice of the West” because of its canals and medieval history. VSF Athlétisme organizes the event, which features two distances: approximately 9.7 km and 16 km. The longer race begins in the morning, followed shortly by the shorter one.
The routes combine running through town with sections in the Huisne valley. Participants will transition from city streets to paths and forest trails. Races for children are also held, making the event suitable for families and adult runners. The semi-urban format is a key feature, offering runners glimpses of La Ferté-Bernard’s historic streets and canals before moving to paths outside the town.
