Trail Urbain 7 d'Honneur 2027

The Trail Urbain 7 d'Honneur is an urban trail race held in early April in Château-Gontier-sur-Mayenne, a town in the Mayenne department of France's Pays de la Loire region. Starting from Quai d'Alsace, it provides 5 km and 11 km race options, with children's and junior races accompanying the adult events. The 5 km race is for individuals aged 16 and over, begins in the morning, and includes approximately 150 meters of elevation gain, indicating it's more than a simple flat run. The course utilizes Château-Gontier as its setting, featuring paved streets, ascents, descents, lesser-known areas of town, monuments, significant local landmarks, and some unique passages. The objective is to experience the commune at running pace, diverging from a typical road race circuit. The association 7 d'Honneur organizes the event, which also generates funds for children in need, providing support for equipment and therapies. Recent editions have attracted around 800 participants, creating a community atmosphere with notable crowd support, distinct from a small gathering.
