Trail Urbain Nocturne is a non-timed night run in Pas-de-Calais, held on a Friday evening in December since 2017. The format is an urban trail, not a standard road race: approximately 10 km on foot, without rankings, clock pressure, or a winner to chase.
The loop crosses the avenues, streets, and alleys of Saint-Omer and Saint-Martin-lez-Tatinghem. Runners also go through buildings, where walking is mandatory to allow participants to appreciate the indoor sections and animations. Licensed and unlicensed runners can register; solo participants must be adults, while younger runners may enter in duos or groups with parental approval and adult accompaniment. Registration is limited to 2,500 people, with participants sent off in waves of about 500, ensuring the event remains substantial yet manageable.
