Urban Trail du Cannet 2026

Urban Trail du Cannet is a September running event in Le Cannet, located above Cannes in the Alpes-Maritimes. It is a short urban trail outing, not a long mountain race, with options around 6-12 km depending on the edition, plus a non-timed 4 km walk and a short children's race. The event starts from the Jardins du Tivoli and is suited for runners seeking a late-summer race with manageable distances, though the longer course can still feel hilly. The route utilizes the paved streets of Vieux-Cannet, a historic village in Provence, situated on a hill with views over Cannes. From sections of the course, runners can see the Lérins Islands and the Estérel massif, connecting the race to the Côte d'Azur landscape without leaving the town. The course also goes near the Musée Bonnard, incorporating local art and heritage into the run. Approximately 700 people participated in a recent edition, and the organizers complement the races with activities and festivities to mark the end of the holiday season.
