The Urban Trail Wallers-Arenberg is a 10 km event in Wallers-Arenberg, Hauts-de-France, northern France, welcoming both runners and walkers. It takes place in March and follows an urban trail format, focusing on movement through a town with a strong local identity rather than wilderness running.
The course crosses various locations within this former mining town, defining its character. A recent second edition attracted approximately 1,000 participants, with journalist and TV host Hélène Mannarino acting as the event’s godmother. Following the race, attendees can explore the nearby Scarpe-Escaut Regional Natural Park, the UNESCO-listed northern belfries, the Louvre-Lens museum, or Lille, located about an hour's drive away.
