Usol trail challenge - Vaugneray 2027

At the Usol Trail Challenge in Vaugneray, the task is to repeat a 6.8 km loop with 322 m of climbing for 12 hours. USOL Trail organizes the event in the Rhône department, offering a short uphill time trial and a bike climb. Places are limited to keep the event small and family-style, with entry fees ranging from 8 to 30 euros depending on the format. The 12-hour race begins in the morning, with participants aiming to complete as many laps as possible. The time trial is a 4.5 km dry climb gaining 360 m of elevation, run over two legs in a pursuit format. The bike race covers 4.3 km and also climbs 360 m, meaning the series focuses on repeated efforts and steep uphill work. This is the event's third edition, presenting itself as a local challenge rather than a typical road race.
