Vailhau'trail - Vailhauquès 2027

Vailhau'trail is a trail-running event held in Vailhauquès, located in the Grand Pic Saint-Loup area north of Montpellier. It takes place on a Sunday in March and is organized by Les Renards du Vailhau'trail. The event features short off-road races: a 15 km and a 7 km run, a 7 km Nordic walk, and children's races. One results sheet also indicates an 18 km race. The 15 km and 7 km races are part of the Challenge du Pic Saint-Loup, allowing participants to include them in their participation in this local series. The 18 km race had 596 entrants, 480 starters, and 459 classified finishers. Aloïs Marquis won the 18 km race with a time of 1:20:55, maintaining an average speed of 13.35 km/h. Runners from Montpellier-area clubs, including Trail City Run Montpellier, Run In Cres, St Mathieu Athlétic, Les Bisons, and Les Coureurs de l'Éolienne, participate.
