Abersoch Trail Run 2026

The Abersoch Trail Run starts and finishes on Abersoch Beach, beside Cardigan Bay in the surf village of Abersoch, North Wales. The main races are 10K and 20K trail runs; the 10K climbs over 500 feet, so this is not a flat beach jog. The event is part of the Abersoch Triple Crown, alongside the Abersoch 10K and the Abersoch Triathlon. Both routes use tracks and trails for most of the distance, with some road sections and a stretch of Abersoch’s beach. They follow the coastal path past Tudwal’s Islands and Porth Ceiriad. The 20K route continues to Porth Neigwl, known as Hell’s Mouth, before returning to the beach finish. Younger runners have a 2K Beach Blast, and the evening before the main races features a 2.2K Torchlight Beach Run. All entry fees support the Menter Rabar community.
