Altra Yorkshire Marathon

The Altra Yorkshire Marathon is a 26.2-mile race in York, challenging runners with the full marathon distance through one of England's most historic cities. It is designed as a large-scale running event, not a small club race, featuring crowd support and a festival atmosphere along the route. The course takes runners through scenic parts of York, though specific street details are not provided by the organizer. Charity participation is a key element of the event, allowing participants to fundraise for research into childhood cancers, improved treatments, and support for families affected by a child's cancer diagnosis.
