The Charm Bracelet Half Marathon is a coastal trail race in North Yorkshire. It starts at 09:15 and finishes in the fishing village of Staithes. The route is 14.35 miles, longer than a standard half, with 1,591 ft of climbing. It suits runners and quick walkers prepared for uneven ground, not road-race pacing.
The course goes south from Redcar along the King Charles III England Coast Path, incorporating sections of the Cleveland Way and passing through coastal villages en route to Staithes. Underfoot conditions include mud, sand, rocks, trees, and cliff-top paths. A sand section and the Circle sculpture are encountered between miles 7 and 8. The race is named after this sculpture, known as the Charm Bracelet, which also inspired the marathon. Entries include a medal, water, and snacks at two aid stations. Trophies are awarded in overall and veteran categories. Runners may opt to plant a tree via Trees Not Tees instead of receiving a shirt.
