Chippenham & District Wheelers 25

Chippenham & District Wheelers 25 is a 25-mile cycling time trial held in Wiltshire on the U86/25 course, taking place on a Sunday morning in late May. The event begins at 09:00 on a medium-rolling, single-carriageway circuit, offering riders a thorough test that avoids being a simple flat drag strip. This event contributes to the RTTC British Best All Rounder, VTTA West, and WTTA Hardriders competitions, establishing its significance within the broader British time-trial calendar beyond just a local club race. The course features approximately 335 metres of elevation gain and a similar amount of loss, requiring steady pacing over recurring rises rather than a single major climb. The participant limit is set at 120, with classifications for both female and open categories across all age groups. Participants may use time trial bikes, road bikes, tricycles, or hand cycles, and tandem entries are also permitted. Paul Winchcombe of Chippenham & District Wheelers is the organiser, with solo entry costing £12 and tandem entry priced separately.
