Dark Dart Dash 2026

The Dark Dart Dash is a night trail race on the trails around Dartington, featuring a 10K main race and a 5K option. Both longer races are single-lap routes. The programme also includes canicross starts for runners with dogs and short races for children aged 3 to 11. The longer courses use mixed terrain: gravel, grass, some tarmac, and occasionally deep mud. Children's races are on grass, with a 1K for ages 3 to 8 and a 2K for ages 8 to 11; parents may accompany them. This race was one of the first events its organisers held and has returned after a hiatus. Registration is at the Green Table Cafe, which serves pizzas, hot drinks, and bar drinks post-race. The event raises funds for a new playground at Dartington Hall.
