The DK Mile Series groups runners by ability into waves. Your race number, used for the whole series, shows your assigned wave. For safety, runners under 15 start in the last wave. Wave assignments may be adjusted if your ability changes significantly. Awards are given for the fastest times across all age groups at the series' conclusion.
