Embrace Ultra Winter Wanderlust 50km 2026

The Winter Wanderlust 50K Ultra is a 50 km trail race held in winter in Kent. It begins at Kent Showground in Detling, near Maidstone, and concludes at Wye Village Hall near Ashford. Participants start at 9:00 AM and must finish by the 7:00 PM cutoff, allowing 10 hours to complete the course. This event is designed as a long trail challenge, not a road ultra, featuring approximately 1,000 metres of elevation gain throughout the day. The course utilizes the North Downs Way from Detling to Wye, passing through rolling hills, vineyard areas, and near historical sites. The race is suitable for experienced ultra-runners and also for those undertaking their first long-distance trail race. All finishers will receive medals, and participants have access to live GPS tracking and on-course medical support.
