The Garstang 10K and 2 Mile Fun Run is an annual community race in Garstang. It offers a 10K for runners and a two-mile option for students and families. The 10K had approximately 500 participants, and the fun run provided many students with an opportunity to race over a manageable distance.
The 10K was won by Rob Webb of Rossendale Harriers in 32:20, and Amanda Crook of Southport Waterloo Athletic Club was the first woman in 35:22. Luke Rawcliffe won the two-mile fun run in 10:53, with Gracie Scott the first girl in 13:14. The event also served as a fundraiser, with organizers aiming to raise £2,500 for the Pitch In fund. School staff and parent volunteers contributed an additional £500 through refreshments, with support from food donations by Booths and Sainsbury's. Garstang Ladies Hockey Club, the Rotary, the Lions, Mr Holliday, and parent volunteers assisted with stewarding and parking.
