Goodwood TT league incorporating the VTTA Southern Closed Circuit Championship 2026

Goodwood's main appeal for this time trial is its closed circuit, free from traffic, potholes, and close passes. The league round includes the VTTA Southern Closed Circuit Championship, held on a Saturday evening in June. The first rider begins at 18:30, after the day's heat has lessened. The field is divided into men's and women's TT bike categories and men's and women's road bike categories, with 80 entrants in total across the four races. Riders begin 30 seconds apart, ensuring each participant has a rider ahead to pursue and a rider behind applying pressure. DJ David Collard-Berry provides commentary, supported by helpers, marshals, and timekeepers who manage the championship on the circuit.
