The Granite Way 10 and 20 Mile Event starts and finishes at Granite Way Café on Klondyke Road in Okehampton, Devon. Runners choose either 10 miles, which is one lap of the Granite Way, or 20 miles, which is two laps. The route uses a quiet, traffic-free cycle path and is aimed at intermediate runners, with many using it as preparation for a spring marathon.
The course is waymarked and follows the Granite Way through Devon countryside, with views across Dartmoor. Exeter City Community Trust organises the event, and the field is expected to be around 1,000 runners. Finishers receive a unique medal, and the race setup includes toilets, parking, bag storage, medical support, food and drink, and hydration stations.
