The Greenwheel Relay is a 50-mile team ultra in Peterborough, Cambridgeshire, run in June and split into seven stages. It starts and finishes at the Athletics Arena, with runners following the outline of the Green Wheel rather than a simple out-and-back or city-centre loop.
This is built around teams, so the day is about handing over, moving between changeover points, and keeping runners supported across the full route. The course is mostly unmarshalled, with prepared stage instructions for navigation and official timing at the changeovers. Non-runners can be part of the support setup, and past results show the relay has returned across multiple editions.
