Hollybank Eccup 10 & 5 Mile Races 2026

The Hollybank Eccup Junior Races are short trail races for children in school years 3 to 12, held at Bedquilts Fields in Adel, Leeds. The races follow a flat, one-mile grass loop around the playing fields. School years 3 to 6 complete one lap, while school years 7 to 12 complete two laps. The Family Fun Run, also known as the Peter Leach 1k, begins around 9:45am, offering younger children, siblings, parents, and others a shorter race option. This is a straightforward, inexpensive junior event organized by Abbey Runners, featuring prizes for all categories and a memento for each finisher. Proceeds from the races benefit Hollybank Trust and The Hygiene Bank, with an option for entrants to make an additional charity donation during sign-up. Registration is located near the junior race start on Bedquilts playing fields, and toilets are provided. An adult must accompany every child throughout the junior races or fun run.
