Jumpstart The Big Startup 5k 2026

The Big Startup 5K is a 5K race held in London’s Battersea Park, designed as a startup-community alternative to the JP Morgan Corporate Challenge. Jumpstart organized it for founders, startup employees, and individuals working within high-growth companies, offering 1,000 team places within its startup network. The participants primarily consist of UK startups and venture capital firms, rather than traditional running clubs. Past teams have included Entrepreneur First, Balderton, Zinc VC, Seedcamp, Autogen AI, Lendable, Sifted, and Elder. The race sold its initial 1,000 tickets in just over three weeks. Sponsors such as Novabook, Universal Partners, YuLife, and Focal have supported the event, aligning it with Jumpstart’s wider initiatives in connecting talent with startups.
