Lakes in a Day Ultra & Half 2026

Lakes in a Day Ultra & Half is a trail running event across England’s Lake District National Park. The full race starts in Caldbeck and finishes in Cartmel, sending runners from the northern edge of the Lakes to the southern edge over a long, hilly route. The course includes tough Lake District terrain and substantial climbing, with Helvellyn Ridge as the standout section. Spectators can follow the race from different points along the route, and the half version offers a shorter option than the full ultra.
