Manvers Dusk Till Dawn is a night endurance run held at Manvers Waterfront Boat Club in Wath-upon-Dearne, South Yorkshire. The event runs for 12 hours, from 6 pm Saturday to 6 am Sunday, with participants completing laps of a 3.21-mile circuit around the lake. Runners can set personal goals for distances like 10K, 10 miles, a half marathon, or a marathon, or simply continue running laps throughout the entire 12-hour period.
The course is flat, off-road, and follows footpaths without any road crossings. However, a reliable head torch is recommended for those running after dark, as most of the route is unlit. Participants have the flexibility to start, stop, rest, and restart at their convenience, with each lap returning to the clubhouse area, which offers amenities such as toilets, showers, food, hot drinks, and a quiet room. The event has a limit of approximately 300 entries, creating an intimate yet well-attended atmosphere. Medals and certificates are provided to all finishers, and on-site camping is available for those wishing to stay for the duration of the weekend.
