The May Hill Massacre is a challenging 7 to 8 mile cross country trail run starting at Leaf Creative in Huntley, Gloucestershire. Runners navigate rough terrain around May Hill, featuring steep ascents, deep mud, and an exposed plateau at the summit. A canicross race precedes the main field, integrating dogs and handlers into the event day. The primary course is marked and includes support at a water station near the 4-mile point, with a one-hour cutoff for reaching it; participants exceeding this limit are returned to the start. On Sunday, the May Hill Mayhem variant extends the route with an additional loop, totaling approximately 14 to 15 miles and featuring its own initial lap cutoff.
